I'm a genetics student doing my Master's in plant biology, a roleplayer, a bisexual, a bibliophile (meaning my rate of book collection exceeds my rate of reading said books) and casually insane. I have a wonderful girlfriend (![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif)
king_of_light), a fat cat who allows me to feed him, and an increasing sense of sloth. I blame most of my vices on my friends since my parents brought me up to be a Fine Upstanding Young Lady who will grow up to have a good job, a rich husband, and 2.5 children. I haven't failed them completely since I think the cat counts as 0.5 of a child, and I work in a lab at the university, which is usually considered "good" (even though it doesn't pay well). As for the husband.... Well, my gf could put on a strap-on, but I'm pretty sure my parents don't want to know about it.
I used to write femslash in the Whedonverses (BtVS and Firefly, mostly, but I'm sure Angel will work its way in eventually). I also used to read all sorts of fic within those fandom. Lately, this has not happened a lot because my schedule has eaten my life. Plus, I've gotten more into roleplaying and live action roleplaying.
I friend other journals because I find the people/fic interesting. I'm bad about commenting although I've tried to be better about it. If you friend me, I will probably notice... eventually. Do so at your pleasure. If you feel the need to defriend me, that's also okay.
